Arick Johanson
Lead Pastor
Arick joined the staff at Clay Center Christian in 2018. A graduate of Clay Center High School in 2001, Arick attended Nebraska Christian College and graduated with a BA in Pastoral Ministry and BTh in Family Life Ministry. As Lead Pastor, Arick is passionate about preaching and teaching, making disciples, and leading the church in worship. Arick and his wife Kacy are blessed with three wonderful kids.
Chad Ferguson
Pastor of Discipleship & Family Ministry
Chad joined Clay Center Christian Church as our Pastor of Family Ministry & Discipleship in 2019. Before joining our team, Chad spent 15 years working as a Chiropractor. Chad obtained an AA from Nebraska Christian College and is currently working toward an MAT in Elementary and K-12 Special Education. He is passionate about growing men in the Lord, strengthening family units, and biblical discipleship that can be translated simply and effectively to all ages. Chad and his wife Kelly are blessed with three wonderful kids.
Amy VonSpreckelsen
Connections & Ministry Operations Director
Amy joined the staff at Clay Center Christian in 2025. Amy holds a BA in Bible & Theology with a minor in Music from William Jessup University. Amy oversees many of our day to day operations and offers valuable support to our ministry staff. Amy and her husband Justin are blessed with two wonderful kids.
